Tom Mazza Consulting is your number one resource when buying or selling a chauffeured transportation company.

Unlike Business Brokers who list companies for sale in tombstone fashion, Tom Mazza believes in the "Strategic Buyer" formula for success. The Chauffeured Transportation business is a "relationship" business and NO ONE has better contacts, information, and RELATIONSHIPS than Tom Mazza.

When operators seek to sell their business, Tom conducts an in depth interview and gathers the information that a buyer would need. Confidentiality agreements are signed by Tom and the seller. Then Tom determines the BEST and most logical buyer in the sellers market and approaches them with a deal that makes sense. If prospect number 1 passes, Tom seeks out a second buyer.

"In my experience, the most logical buyer for a Company is a person IN the business. They understand the margins, the opportunities for savings, and they understand the value of the client book. I can make a compelling argument for a deal when we have the correct prospect in front of me. If you list your business for sale with a business broker, you are absolutely devaluing the worth of your business. You are leaving money on the table." Tom says.

Tom requires an upfront fee when he undertakes a search for a Strategic Buyer but that fee, credited against Tom's standard 5 percent commission on a completed deal, is a tremendous time saver. "It separates tire kickers from motivated sellers." Tom also believes that "growth through a strategic acquisition" is an important tool for success. "It is a way to grow your business in a simple, time efficient way. And if you already have a solid organization in place, it can become very profitable, very quickly. Let's say you own a company that is doing $1 million in annual sales and you were averaging 25 rides a day. You have an office staff of 4 and about 10 chauffeurs and 12 vehicles. Let's say we found a small company doing $500k in annual sales with a 2 person office staff and they were averaging 15 rides a day. By combining companies, we see an immediate reduction of expenses. You can almost definitely reduce fleet, eliminate the expense of 1 location and even reduce staff. And many times the savings easily pays the note to buy the new company."
