TOM MAZZA Announces Carte Blanche Limousine of Indianapolis Purchases Classic Touch of Bloomington

Carte Blanche Limousine of Indianapolis, IN has purchased the assets of Classic Touch Limousine of Bloomington, IN  in a deal facilitated by Tom Mazza that was completed on April 15, 2011.

Barbara Branstetter, President and CEO of Carte Blanche and her husband and business partner, Bob Branstetter and David Rogers, President of Classic Touch, said the deal had been in the works since October of 2010. It includes the Classic Touch fleet, an airport concession in Indianapolis, and the rental of the former Classic Touch location in Bloomington which is about 60 miles from Indianapolis. Both companies reported 2010 sales of just over $1 million.

Carte Blanche has a traditional luxury limousine model with a focus on executive sedan service, in-bound affiliate work, and retail. The company will operate 28 vehicles including sedans, SUV’s, stretches, vans and a mini-coach. Classic Touch has a similar business mix with a significant amount of shared ride business as well.

Branstetter believes the “new” company is poised for growth and increased profitability. “There are great synergies between our companies that made the deal attractive. More than 30 percent of Classic Touch’s business is in the Indianapolis area. This business will be easily absorbed by Carte Blanche’s current operation. We see Bloomington as an attractive market to be in. It is a vibrant community anchored by Indiana University and we see great opportunities to sell our services.”

Mazza, who represented the seller, said realistic principals on both sides of the table made the deal happen. “From Day 1, both Dave Rogers and the Branstetter’s wanted to figure out how to strike a deal that was fair and worked for both parties. Dave Rogers understood that since he would be receiving payments over time, he is heavily invested in the ongoing and continued success of the company. I could not be happier about this deal. This is truly a win-win for both of them.”
